After two consecutive months of intense Fire Qi, we enter one of the most significant energetic shifts of the Fire Horse Year.

June’s Wood Horse month supplied the fuel.

July’s Wood Goat month intensified the flames.

Now, the Fire Monkey month introduces Metal into the equation. In Chinese Metaphysics, Metal cannot be forged until Fire reaches sufficient intensity. Only then can impurities be burned away and raw metal transformed into something of lasting strength and value.

Fire now meets Metal, producing an environment of refinement, precision and execution.

This month represents that stage of the process.

Think of raw metal entering a forge. Heat softens what was once rigid so it can be reshaped. Weaknesses are exposed, impurities are removed and the material is repeatedly worked until it becomes useful, durable and strong.

That is the central message of the Fire Monkey month.
