June: The Yang Water Horse MONTH - The Prospering Qi of Fire A Time of Beauty, Intensity, and Deep Transformation

On June 5th we entered the Water Horse Month, a time when the height of Fire Qi illuminates our days and energizes our spirits. The Water Horse evokes the warmth of summer: gentle waves lapping sandy shores beneath golden light, days that seem to stretch forever, and a sense of renewal in the air. At its best, this is summer in full bloom—joyful, passionate, and expansive.
Think of rising heat on summer waves, of bright skies charged with invisible currents. However, this is a time when things can shift fast—for better or for chaos—and we must ride with clarity, not complacency. The Water in the heavens clashes with the Fire of the Earth.
The Truth About Fire Qi
Fire is a catalyst. It’s not here to keep things comfortable—it’s here to transform.
It brings warmth, light, joy, and passion. But unchecked, Fire can become agitation, rage, restlessness, or destruction. Nothing Fire touches remains the same—it burns away the inessential, demands presence, and forces truth to the surface.
This month, Fire rides on the back of Water—a combination that creates tension and unpredictable movement. You may feel energized one moment, overwhelmed the next. That’s not imbalance; it’s the alchemy of transformation at work.
But don’t be lulled by the sunlit surface. Beneath the beauty lies immense power—and immense volatility.
Fire Transforms Everything It Touches
The Qi of Fire is not neutral. It scorches the Earth, melts Metal, evaporates Water, and consumes Wood. It can illuminate, bringing clarity and vision. But it can also destroy, igniting chaos and consuming whatever is not rooted in truth.
Emotionally, Fire manifests as both joy and passion—yet its shadow side, anxiety, hatred, and impulsivity.
This is a month of deep transformation and revelation. And while the Water Horse may appear elegant and serene, it carries a deeper mythic warning. In Celtic lore, the Water Horse is a beguiling creature that lures humans to ride—only to drag them into watery depths. In a world saturated with illusion (especially during Period 9, the era of fire and façade), discernment is survival.
The Summer Solstice on June 20, marks the turning point toward the Yin half of the year.
The Horse’s fiery charm may already be giving us a glimpse into the intensity of the upcoming Horse Year, 2026, the "Crimson Horse"
As we leave the Snake Month behind here are a few Reflections from the Snake Month: The Two-Headed Snake
As we transition into the Water Horse month, from the Snake Month in this Snake Year, the symbolic image that emerged again and again—in client sessions, classes, and meditations—was the two-headed snake. A deeply charged archetype, it offers powerful insights for where we are now:
Polarity and Integration:Two heads, each holding a unique viewpoint—masculine and feminine, shadow and light, external action and inner wisdom. This symbol reminds us that harmony isn't about erasing difference, but learning how to hold opposing truths at once
Accelerated Metamorphosis:Snakes have long represented cycles of shedding and becoming. But with two heads, the energy of change is magnified—a double helix of evolution moving through us. The process may be uncomfortable, but it is potent.
Inner Struggle and Spiritual Tension:Each head pulling in a different direction symbolizes the inner tug-of-war many are feeling. Competing desires, conflicting truths, and the friction of awakening—it’s all part of the path toward self-mastery.
Sacred Sight and Spiritual Wisdom:In ancestral and mythic traditions, the two-headed snake is not a monster—it’s a seer. It can look both forward and back, above and below. It invites us to see through illusion and access deeper layers of understanding.
Flexibility and Fierce Boundaries:As the world accelerates, we are all learning to bend without breaking. The two-headed serpent watches both entrances and exits—it adapts swiftly, yet remains aware and discerning. It teaches us to move with change while fiercely guarding what matters most.
We are living in one of the most significant astrological and energetic periods of our lifetimes. May was a peak—but June brings another powerful wave.
Facing the Shadow, Embracing the Gift
Right now, many are navigating anxiety, depression, betrayal, illness, anger, and loss. And yet—it’s all happening for us. The darkness that’s rising is not a curse—it’s a mirror, reflecting what must be healed, integrated, and ultimately transformed.
We’re witnessing the collapse of unconscious systems: racism, greed, suppression, spiritual bypassing, and more. The truths we’ve hidden—both collectively and individually—are emerging into the light.
Yes, it’s intense.
And yes—it’s also perfect.
This is what we came for. Each of us chose to be here, now, for this incredible initiation. We’re not just surviving this moment. We’re being shaped by it.
The Animals:
The hidden friend of the Horse is the Goat. A special spiritual relationship.
The Rat is clashed by the Horse. Changes are coming, more movement, change of job, cha ge of relationship, change of career, possible illness arises. It all depends what pillar the Rat appears in your Bazi Chart. Do take extra care this month.
The Snake and Goat combine with the Horse, brining in the Seasonal combination of Fire.
The Tiger, and Dog combine forming the 3 harmony trinity of Fire. Didn't I just say alot of FIre Qi his month.
Things could break down, and break apart for the dear Rabbit, however it is also a break throuh. This how transformation happens.
Dear Ox, you could have a more emotional month, Take care of your heart.
The I Ching Speaks: Wind Over Wind (Hexagram 57)
The guidance from the I Ching this month is subtle yet profound: Hexagram 57 – Wind over Wind.
This is not the wind of sudden storms, but the gentle, persistent breeze that reshapes even the hardest stone over time. The message?
Stay focused.
Move consistently.
Don’t scatter your energy or be seduced by the rush of excitement.
This isn’t about dramatic leaps—it’s about unshakable commitment and steady direction.
